Détecnet is a private investigation agency specializing in strategic data retrieval: location of individuals and companies, credit investigations, inheritance inquiries, real estate expertise, reliability of customer data, and more.

In order to reduce our GHG emissions, it is essential to be able to measure them beforehand. This is why we decided to calculate our carbon footprint with Greenly. Our carbon report allowed us to better structure our environmental policy and to draw our action plan to reduce our emissions in the long term.

The measurement solution proposed by Greenly is simple and intuitive. Moreover, they have great ratings from their customers, and they’ve obtained the French Tech Green 2020 label. Working with Greenly was the obvious choice.

Detecnet's carbon footprint not only takes into account direct and energy related emissions (Scope 1 & 2) but also indirect emissions caused by service providers and services used by the company (Scope 3). Adding up all emissions, Detecnet had a footprint of 126t CO2e in 2021.

Détecnet aims to reduce their emissions 📉

The action plan has been defined and is currently underway. To achieve our goals, we intend to involve managers for each major emissions item. We will therefore work together with each relevant department to define reduction actions that are both impactful and also within reach, while respecting the 2022 development and growth objectives that have been defined.
