Course & Objectives 🔍

Linkbynet is a product of pure innovation. Established 20 years ago to address the emerging needs of managed services and cloud computing solutions, we have an optimistic view of technology and its proven benefits to the way we work, in-person or online. In this ever-changing world, strategic business transformation cannot be achieved without the development, management, and security of powerful, customized digital infrastructures. These invisible forces have undeniably become essential to the growth and survival of businesses and organizations.

"In our own way, with our own resources, we are committed to a better world. Whether through our foundation, our investments, our service offerings, everything is rethought, analysed and adapted."

ITV - Why did you carry out a GHG assessment? 🤔

We saw it as crucial to update our carbon balance in order to identify areas which needed the most improvement, and to draw up a reduction trajectory. We are already carrying out actions to reduce our impact, such as the eco-participation we offer our customers, the promotion of soft mobility and our Minergie-labelled head office. Today, we want to address these reductions in the form of a trajectory and a well-defined long-term strategy. It is high time to act for a more responsible digital world so we can ensure a better tomorrow.

Why Greenly? 🌱

We wanted to work with Greenly because the measurement solution proposed by them is simple and fast. In addition, it is one of the best recognized solutions on the market and has been awarded the French Tech Green 2020 label.

Linkbynet's carbon footprint update 📊

Linkbynet's carbon footprint takes into account not only direct and energy-related emissions (Scope 1 & 2) but also indirect emissions caused by service providers and services used by the company (Scope 3). Adding up all the emissions, Linkbynet had a footprint of 1353t CO2e in 2020

Linkbynet wants to reduce its emissions 📉

Our main action is to make our service offerings more responsible and thus help our customers to reduce their impacts. This is where we will have the most significant impact. Technology and the cloud can be a real solution for the climate and we want to develop this aspect.

We also plan to intensify our efforts in terms of our internal approach, by raising awareness of climate issues and implementing reduction actions, especially in our IT.
