Kalray carries out their carbon footprint analysis with Greenly!
Kalray contacted Greenly when they decided it was time to conduct their first GHG assessment. They wanted to get the whole business involved in the process of reducing their emissions and lowering their carbon footprint. Today, Kalray has earned its first badge towards its Net Zero trajectory!

ITV - Why carry out a GHG report? 🤔
In order to reduce our GHG emissions, we first needed to measure them and identify areas for improvement. This is why we decided to calculate our carbon footprint with Greenly. Their solution allowed us to better structure our environmental policy and to draw our action plan, helping us reduce emissions in the long term.

The measurement solution proposed by Greenly is simple and intuitive. Moreover, they have great ratings from their customers, and they’ve obtained the French Tech Green 2020 label. Working with Greenly was the obvious choice.
Kalray's carbon footprint update 📊
Kalray's carbon footprint takes into account not only direct and energy-related emissions (Scope 1 & 2) but also indirect emissions caused by service providers and services used by the company (Scope 3). Adding up all emissions, Kalray had a footprint of 1922t CO2e in 2021.
Kalray wants to reduce its emissions 📉
The action plan has been defined and is currently underway. To achieve our objective, we intend to involve managers for each major emission item. We will therefore work together with each relevant department to define reduction actions that are both impactful and also within reach, while respecting the 2022 development and growth objectives that have been defined.
