Marie-Antoinette carries out their Carbon Footprint with Greenly!
When Marie-Antoinette Agency contacted Greenly, its first objective was to find a simple solution to measuring their GHG emissions, in order to control and reduce their environmental footprint. Today, Marie-Antoinette has earned their first badge towards their Net Zero trajectory!

Background & Objectives 🔍
Since the Agency's creation in 2010, the issue of the environment has always been at the heart of the company's concerns. We have always ensured that our employees are aware of the ecosystem that surrounds them.
Since 2017, we have accelerated the pace and are implementing a clear CSR strategy which involves our employees on a daily basis. We're proud of our CSR approach, and make it known to all our stakeholders.
Along with the production of our carbon footprint carried out by Greenly, we will implement the recommendations suggested by the various dedicated committees (responsible digital technology, sustainable commuting, green events, eco-gestures, responsible purchasing). All these steps and actions also allow the Marie-Antoinette Agency to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals as defined by the United Nations.

Why did you carry out a GHG assessment? 🤔
In order to reduce our GHG emissions, we needed to measure them beforehand. This is why we wanted to calculate our Carbon footprint with Greenly. They allowed us to better structure the areas where we need to pay attention and reduce our footprint, but also assisted us in drawing our action plan to reduce our emissions in the long term.
Why Greenly? 🌱
The measurement solution proposed by Greenly is simple and intuitive. We were impressed by how well they are recognized on the market, and by the fact that they were awarded the French Tech Green 2020 label!

Marie-Antoinette's carbon footprint update 📊
Marie-Antoinette's carbon footprint not only takes into account direct and energy-related emissions (Scope 1 & 2) but also indirect emissions caused by service providers and services used by the company (Scope 3). Adding up all the emissions, Marie-Antoinette had a footprint of 381t CO2e in 2019.
Marie-Antoinette wants to reduce its emissions 📉
The action plan has been defined. To reach our goal, we intend to involve managers to take charge of accountability for each major emissions item. With their help, we can work with the departments concerned to define the most impactful and attainable reduction actions, all while respecting the defined 2021 development and growth objectives.
As of September 2022, we will launch five major commissions dedicated to the environment in order to further reduce our footprint.
Employees will also be given awareness raising activities such as participating in a workshop on the Climate Fresk. We find it essential for everyone to act at the highest level they are capable of, and find ways to contribute to positive change.
